In 2022, NITE Watches became the official watch sponsor for a remarkable team of retired US Navy SEALs and a veteran US Marine as they took on the Talisker Atlantic Rowing Race - 3,000 miles of open ocean, conquered in just over 33 days. Not only did they finish, they smashed the US record for a four-man team by more than 15 days, a feat of true endurance and teamwork. Wanting to be part of the journey firsthand, founder of NITE Watches, Roger Green, decided to go and join the crew in La Gomera, helping to prepare the boat and meeting the team in person. It was here that Roger forged genuine connections built on shared values and respect for real-world resilience, especially with Brian “Tosh” Chontosh, a decorated Marine and recipient of the Navy Cross, whose story of leadership and relentless drive stood out from the start.
