In this post we get to know brand ambassador Robert Kaiser – CEO, personal protection specialist and endurance athlete.

Robert is the CEO of UK based PPSS Group, a firm specialised in the design, production and supply of high performance body armour, offering protection from firearms, edged weapons, hypodermic needles and blunt force trauma, and as such takes great pride in his job.

His genuine passion is for personal safety and personal protection.  He also relentlessly campaigns for the welfare of homeland security worldwide.

He took part in the Winter Fan Dance Race 2014 that goes over two sides of Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons.
In 2014 Robert aimed to ascent Mont Blanc, with 4,810m Europe’s highest mountain, but due to 100km/60miles wind on the summit everyone had to declare defeat for safety reasons.
In June 2015 he ran the Hadrian’s Wall Ultra Marathon, a single stage 69 mile trail run from Carlisle to Gateshead, as well as the 2016 Western Highland Way Ultra Marathon… a 95 mile single stage Trail Ultra Marathon featuring a 15,000ft elevation profile.
Robert returned to Greenland in February 2017 and February 2018 for a solo, self-sufficient, unsupported Winter Expedition in -40C… pulling a 150lb pulk and all equipment himself.

And finally, we asked Robert how do you find the time to combine a successful business career with your demanding endurance events?

“It really is about time efficiency… allocating specific time periods to any individual task, project or plan.  If I want to run 6 hours on a Sunday, then that is what I have to and will end up doing.  Equally if I have to fly to a foreign county to conduct business, I will ensure I allocate a specific period of time to core stability training for example… and I will do that training.  I can will only relax and enjoy spare time when the time really is spare. So, for me it really works to understand the total time availability, allocate times for everything I got to do and stick to the plans. One will be surprised how much time we actually will have spare to enjoy and find peace when we plan a little ahead.”
