Get to know Chris Croft
In this post we get to know brand ambassador Chris Croft - a successful businessman, management training speaker, writer and all-round outdoor enthusiast.
Chris Croft is a management training speaker and writer. He originally came from an Operations background, having started with an Engineering degree from Cambridge, qualifying as a Chartered Engineer and later an MBA. He started up his own training company eighteen years ago and since then he has trained over 87,000 people and his free email tips are sent to over 15,000 subscribers. His Happiness course on lynda.com has had over 800,000 views. Filmed in LA, you can see him here talking about Luck - with his Nite watch of course.
Chris also runs outdoor leadership courses which can involve crossing lakes, high ropes challenges and team activities which are custom designed. He is also a keen traveller having recently visited India, Cambodia, Australia, Iceland, Cuba, Guatemala, Norway, Peru and Everest Base Camp. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking as well as playing the sax in a fairly loud rock band based in Poole, Dorset called Lost at Sea.
And finally, we asked Chris, in one sentence, how does he find the time to enjoy life to the full?
"I block out chunks of time in my diary well ahead of time, so that when I get there I’ve got the time free. I put weeks in for holidays and days or evenings for other fun stuff. If the time is allocated it’s much easier to do it. "
